Guests have been staying with us since the 14th century, making the Hirschen one of the oldest hotels in the city of Zurich. We are continuing this tradition with a great deal of passion, warmth and hospitality.

No matter whether you’re on a business trip, just visiting or on a short holiday, anyone can find their perfect home away from home in one of our cosy rooms. Warm colours, comfortable furnishings including coffee- tea-making facilities, an elevator from the reception floor and an ideal location right in the heart of Zurich old town make our hotel a charming retreat for relaxing moments. Our cold local breakfast buffet leaves no wish unfulfilled and our romantic winebar "Weinschenke" where we serve wine accompanied by cold dishes is also popular
for wine tastings, weddings, events and anniversaries.
In summer, our cozy roof top terrace is inviting too.

Weinschenke
The Hirschen’s Weinschenke (wine tavern) is an unforgettable place where people can enjoy a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere shaped by the past. Right in the heart of the old town, and yet far away from the hustle, bustle and noise.

Opening hours
Our historic Weinschenke with its 14th century well is open from Tuesday to Saturday from around 4:30 pm*
to 11:00 pm.

Weddings
Since 2009, we have had the privilege of being an official wedding venue of the Zurich civil registry office. Over 1,000 couples have already said ‘I do’ here.
